Affordability Assessment
💵 | Price Range: $200 - $5000+
Small leather goods at Fendi can start at $700. Purses and clothing can average $5,000 making the brand fall in the Luxury category.
📈 | Value for Money: xxx
Fendi products often hold their value in the resale market and some exclusive products can be sold for more than the purchase price. Fendi products are created with a focus on heritage craftsmanship and the highest quality materials but these qualities may not always justify the exorbitant prices.
💡 | Affordability Tools
Stand alone Fendi stores hardly offer discounts but large retailers such as Saks 5th Avenue have regular sales on Fendi items that they carry. During the off season, some items can go on sale for more than 50% off. Outlet stores also carry discounted items.
Adaptability Assessment
🦾 | Inclusivity
Fendi’s parent company, LVMH, has created an initiative to include people with disabilities in the workforce since 2007. Starting in 2021, LVMH has a fixed target of increasing the percentage of people with disabilities in its global workforce. Fendi does not design adaptable products but because of their company’s commitment to hiring PWD, we recommend this company to anyone that can afford it.
♿️ | Comfort
The brand values style above all other factors, though it does use high-quality materials.
Sustainability Assessment
🌍 | Environmental Impact
Demonstrating commitment to protecting the environment, FENDI has set a strategic shift to achieve 100% renewable energy sources for all its stores and sites by 2026. Currently, all electricity powering the stores and sites in Italy, France, Spain, Netherlands, and the UK is sourced from renewable energy. The next step is to extend this commitment across the entire global network. Where renewable electricity contracts are not available, FENDI is investing in Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). Globally, 76% of the brand's global energy consumption comes from renewable sources (including sites).
🤝 | Labor Conditions
Fendi products are manufactured in Italy and they follow EU Labor laws. They have always had a women centered model and currently, 65% of their worldwide employees are women.
🐾 | Animal Welfare:
They are committed to the highest ethical sourcing standards and have stated that 100% of their strategic raw materials will be responsibly sourced by 2026.
