  • Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026 began on February 24, bringing several major creative-director debuts to the runway.   • London Fashion Week February 2026 took place from February 19–23 and featured 90 designers and organizations, an 11% increase from the previous event. The schedule included 41 catwalk shows and 20 presentations, with designers including Burberry, Erdem, Emilia Wickstead, Richard Quinn, and Simone Rocha.

The Economic Report 

  • The January 2026 U.S. jobs report, released February 11, showed that the economy added 130,000 jobs, while the unemployment rate was 4.3%. Employment increased in health care, social assistance, and construction, while federal government and financial activities lost jobs.

  • On February 20, the Bureau of Economic Analysis released its initial estimate for U.S. GDP in the fourth quarter of 2025, putting annualized growth at 1.4%, compared with 4.4% in the previous quarter.
